Welcome to the new South Fork HOA I Web site! We have some exciting new features so please browse each tab for important information regarding Association documents, minutes, the budget, Neighborhood Watch information and contact info on all local & state entities. And most exciting is the new calendar and the classifieds tab. Feel free to list your items for sale. This feature automatically deletes your ad after 15 days so you will need to refresh the ad to continue it for more than that period.
A reminder that Association dues are paid quarterly and are due within 15 days of the beginning of each quarter. A $25 late fee applies for all late payments. If you do not have a coupon book, you can contact DLG for FREE ACH (auto debit payments), or mail your check directly to DLG Management Services.

Important reminder that all rental homes in South Fork must be registered at the DLG Management office, with a copy of the lease provided by email to email@example.com or by fax to 813-254-1601. Please send a copy of your lease today!

August report from Aquatic Systems:
The homeowners are likely seeing an increase in Algal production because of our Sonar applications for submersed weeds. As the submersed weeds, like Hydrilla and Slender Spike Rush, break down they are going to release nutrient into the water column. These nutrients paired with the hot summer water temperature will spark Algal blooms. This is anticipated and we are treating the Algae as well. Think of this as it is going to look a bit worse before it gets better….I did note prior to us starting the contract that this would take some time. Once the Submersed weeds are gone, the Algae will be under control and everything will be looking better that it has in very long time.
The Board of Directors are now using Anne Hathorne PA for violation enforcement. Please be aware that after (2) violation notices, all lawn maintenance, vehicle parking violation, trailers, commercial vehicle violations, and mildew on homes violations will GO TO LEGAL ACTION. Now is the time to get out the pressure washer, clean out those flower beds, lay some fresh mulch, trim those oak and palm trees, and mow that lawn weekly!
All exterior changes to your home require an ARB approval. See forms page for more details and forms. This includes landscape, paint, pavers, or lawn art. ARB requests should be sent to email@example.com. All paint color requests must have a color chart scanned in color and included in the request.
The park is NOW OPEN and includes the tennis courts, playground, new meeting room at the pool, and new security fencing.
Bulk Cable Agreement
The Board of Directors has expanded the Brighthouse Bulk Cable agreement to include Digital Premium channels effective approx October 1. Your HOA dues will now include this increased service. In mid Sept you will receive a letter from Brighthouse with instructions to call their office and order a Converter Box. A newsletter from DLG in late September will also be a reminder! Please do not call until you receive the Brighthouse letter as they are still setting up this service.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE SERVICES, PLEASE CONTACT BRIGHTHOUSE DIRECTLY. HOMEOWNERS DO HAVE THE OPTION OF OTHER SERVICES, SUCH AS VERIZON, HOWEVER, THE BASIC CABLE WITH BRIGHTHOUSE IS STILL ACTIVE WITH THE BULK CONTRACT. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS EVALUATING CABLE SERVICES FOR THE EXPIRATION OF THIS CONTRACT IN OCTOBER 31, 2018.
HOMEOWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING BRIGHTHOUSE FOR ANY REPAIR OR SERVICE QUESTIONS.
Good news! Your Bright House Networks service is being upgraded! Effective October 1, 2015, South Fork I will provide its residents with Bright House Networks Premier TV Service. With Premier TV Service, you’ll enjoy a wide variety of channels, free HD, thousands of hours of On Demand programming, and digital picture and sound.
Through our agreement with South Fork I, this upgrade includes one (1) Digital Cable Box and (1) remote control, which will require installation. Any additional digital equipment will be billed to you directly. You’re welcome to add DVR service for an additional charge. Adding DVR service lets you stop, pause, rewind, and record programs, so you can watch TV on your schedule.
Pool & Recreation Area
Phase I and Phase II have a shared agreement for use of the pool and recreation area. Since Phase II owns the pool and recreation area, the rules and regulations are enforced by Phase II and or their agents.
THE POOL, TENNIS COURTS AND PLAYGROUND ARE NOW OPEN. THE MEETING ROOM IS NEARLY COMPLETED!
POOL ACCESS CARDS WILL NOW BE ISSUED DIRECTLY BY THE ON-SITE POOL MONITOR. SEE POOL RULES TAB AND FORMS FOR MORE INFORMATION. THIS APPLIES TO RESIDENTS OF PHASE I & II.
The Pool card system was struck by lightning in March and the system was replaced. If you have not yet visited the pool with your pool card since March, you will be required to register your card with the Pool Monitor when you arrive (so he can scan your card and register is again in the system). Thank you for your patience!
Pool hours: (7:30 am to 6:30 pm Sept thru Apr) (8:30 am to 7:30 pm May thru August)
No Food, Drink or Animal in the pool or on the pool deck. Pool Monitors have been instructed to ask anyone with food or drinks (of any kind) to please store them in their vehicles.
The sidewalks and streets of South Fork Phase I are owned by Hillsborough County. Contact info for repairs to your sidewalk can be found on the Contact Page of this Web site. In regards to vehicles parking in the street, this is not a violation of the Declaration of the Association, nor is it a Hillsborough County Violation. Please refer to the newsletter posted on this WEB site for information relating to valid towing policies.
Sec. 6.11.43. Garage, Yard, Etc. Sales
Garage, yard, tag, patio and apartment sales are specifiically permitted, as an accessory use, in all residential districts. Such sales shall be limited to one during each six-month period, for a duration not to exceed three days.
Yard sale signs cannot be placed at the entry of the community for longer than the day they hold the sale.
